With this in mind, our process has been refined to instill confidence, particularly in clients who may not be local, affording them the comfort and convenience of making selections from afar.
A Personal Touch to Building Dreams
Our team, led by Kim Willis, with her unlimited license in both commercial and residential construction in NC, personally oversees each stage of the build, from the initial plans to the final touches of landscaping. This hands-on approach safeguards that every project exemplifies our unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Meet the Owner, Kim Willis
She obtained her contractor’s license in 2005 after spending eleven years renovating and flipping homes throughout the area. She received her Bachelor’s from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to owning and managing Coastal Heritage, she is the owner/manager of two real estate rental companies, as well as a medical management company. She has worked in a range of industries throughout her career, including ownership of multiple retail stores and as an internal auditor for a banking and financial services company.

Kim is very active in our community and volunteers for a number of organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Samaritan’s Purse, Carteret County Schools, and Hunting Quarters Church. She served on the Carteret County School Board for two 4-year terms and is a member of the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce, and Carteret County Association of Realtors. Kim is a former member of the Carteret Community College Board of Trustees Craven Pamlico Home Builders. She is happily married to Kerry Willis, MD, and is the proud mother of two sons, Samuel and Benjamin, two daughters-in-law, Lindsey and Beth, and four grandchildren.
